Search

Find repositories, source, people, issues, and review work from the product shell.

Search categories

Depending on your access, search can lead to:

  • repositories and owners;
  • source files and code matches;
  • people and organization members;
  • issues and pull requests;
  • stack reviews and related commits.

Inside a repository, issue search accepts GitHub-style terms such as:

is:open label:bug sort:updated-desc

Use filters to reduce a broad result set before opening a work item. Search does not bypass authorization: private content is omitted or denied according to your access.

Search safely

Treat result snippets as stale until you open the source object. If a result points to a moved branch, closed issue, or changed stack, use the object’s current timeline and status as the source of truth.
